This article will cover the assistance provided by charitable organizations to World War I prisoners of war in the Turkestan camps. It will primarily focus on the activities of Polish organizations in providing material and humanitarian aid to Polish prisoners of war and refugees. Additionally, it will explore the efforts of various international missions to support Slavic prisoners of war, as they were in a special position within the Russian Empire.
