This article explains the expressive and meaningful structure of phraseology using phrases from Otkir Khoshimov’s ‘‘Life Passed in a Dream’’. The role of phraseology in the novel in ensuring the artistic integrity of the work is analyzed. The article examines phraseological units not simply as ready-made linguistic units, but as an aesthetic tool that reveals the psychology of characters, depicts the social landscape of the era, and individualizes the writing style.
