This article analyzes the linguodidactic foundations of the learner-centered approach in teaching the German language. The importance of considering students’ individual characteristics, interests, needs, and communicative abilities in the educational process is highlighted. The effectiveness of modern pedagogical technologies, communicative approaches, and interactive methods in teaching German is scientifically substantiated. The article also discusses the role of learner-centered education in developing language competencies and its linguodidactic potential.
