The article examines the activities of the National University of Uzbekistan(SAGU) during the Second World War, focusing on the preservation anddevelopment of science and education. Based on archival materials and scientificliterature, the study explores the evacuation of scholars, the organization of theeducational process, the functioning of scientific departments, and the university’scontribution to personnel training and research to meet wartime needs. Specialattention is paid to maintaining scientific potential and ensuring continuity ofeducational traditions during wartime.
