The article considers the problem of developing professional innovative competence of future primary school teachers in the context of the information and educational environment. The role of the information and educational environment as a factor in developing the innovative potential of future teachers is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to methodological approaches and active teaching methods (project-based learning, case method, design thinking, gamification) that help prepare teachers for innovative activities.
