In this article, the structural forms of terms in English and Uzbek, comparing them to each other, have been analyzed. This allows us to identify the most productive methods and models of their formation. The concept of terminology underlies the general theory and is interpreted as a science that studies the collection, definition, formation, and presentation of lexical units related to a specialized field in one or more languages.
