This article presents scientific and theoretical views on the genres of tashtir and qasida in classical Eastern literature. The genres of classical Turkish poetry analyzed by Turkish scholars, both in terms of form and in terms of providing examples, analyze the specific features of the tashtir genre as a new form of complex genres. As a result of studying the components of the qasida, masnavi and musammat poetry genres, it is noted that they are complex in structure, and by reflecting on the historical origin of these genres and the process of acquiring a complex form, a conclusion is drawn about the historical development of each complex-structured genre.
