Learning the English language, like any other language, involves mastering four main skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These skills are all essential for language proficiency, but reading has a particularly significant impact on the development of the others. It is well known that these language skills are interconnected and mutually influence one another. Nevertheless, reading plays a key role in many aspects of learning. The primary aim of this study is to analyze the impact of learners' reading abilities on their writing skills. Additionally, it seeks to explore the connection between reading and writing and to investigate whether students’ writing skills can be improved through reading.
