Annotatsiya

This article examines the creative transformation and artistic embodiment of mythological plots, motifs, and traditions in world literature of the 20th and 21st centuries. The study explores mythopoetics and its role in literature, focusing on the intercultural significance of mythological symbols in works of art as interpreted through the intellectual creativity of writers. The works of Irish author James Joyce, Uzbek writer Ulugbek Hamdam, and Russian author Evgeny Vodolazkin illustrate the role of myth in the creative process and highlight its aesthetic value in contemporary literature. Furthermore, the interaction between mythology and literature is analyzed from the perspective of the spiritual needs of society.
