Annotatsiya

There are only a few rare examples of folk oral creativity that have been passed down through the centuries, serving as a mirror of our national traditions. During their school years, individuals are exposed to fairy tales, songs performed in class or at public gatherings, proverbs, riddles, narratives, and epics, while also engaging in children's games. These experiences allow them to mature in harmony with their creativity. Among the folklore traditions mentioned above, there is also applause and cursing, which creators of each era have adapted and used according to their skills and artistry. In this article, we explore the skill of modern Uzbek poets in utilizing folklore traditions, particularly the role of the cursing genre in their creative works.
