The article is devoted to the study of the idiostyle of the prominent local scholar, Professor J.J. Jalolov. To this end, the concepts of "idiolect" and "idiostyle," as well as their semantic differences in the context of cognitive-discursive personality, are analyzed. Linguistic examples from Professor J.J. Jalolov’s articles are provided for analysis, and conclusions are drawn regarding the specificity of the scholar’s cognitive-discursive portrait.
