It is known that development in the lexicon of the language is characterized by the emergence of new lexical units. These features can be seen in the uniqueness of the language, its specific signs and its functions. During the period of independence, there were many changes in the vocabulary of the Uzbek language. The sharp increase in interest in terminology in recent years is explained by the rapid development of various fields of knowledge. It is of great importance that researches are conducted in different directions in this field. For this reason, the article examines the works on terminology performed by researchers.
