Annotatsiya

This article explores the history of studying gender stereotypes in modern linguistics through the lens of folklore. It addresses key questions about the scope of gender linguistics and the issues it seeks to resolve. Furthermore, the gender dimension is most prominently reflected in folklore texts. The analysis of proverbs related to men and women reveals national and cultural characteristics that are distinctly differentiated by gender.
