This article explores the field of cognitive linguistics and the related concept of the linguistic and cultural (conceptual) worldview. It examines the notion of cultural connotation and the discipline of linguoculturology, with a specific focus on the phraseological concept. The research investigates phraseological expressions in the Uzbek language related to the concept of "poverty." By analyzing these linguistic units, the article seeks to offer insights into the lifestyle, living conditions, thought processes, and perceptions of people as reflected through phraseological representations of the concept of "poverty" within artistic texts.
