Annotatsiya

This article discusses semiotics, presented as the science of the study of signs and their role in society. Signs surround us everywhere, and their functions are much broader than simply representing objects. For example, the colors on a national flag carry deep symbolic meaning, expressing national identity and ideology. Semiotics, which emerged in the late 19th century through the work of Ferdinand de Saussure and Charles Sanders Peirce, studies how signs function and interact in different cultural contexts, playing a key role in shaping our perception of the world.
