This article examines the wide variety of terminology used in football and how these terms are used in everyday life and other sports. We don't often think about the origin of these terms, let alone their meaning. Since our country has the honor of hosting matches of such a major football tournament as the Futsal World Cup in 2024, it is important to study the origin of football terminology in the Uzbek language, as well as explore football terms in English and Uzbek languages.
