This article analyzes the key challenges facing modern linguistic and cultural studies, with an emphasis on the relationship between cultural values, norms and stereotypes. The study highlights the integrative nature of 21st century science, especially its convergence with the natural sciences and the application of interdisciplinary methods in linguistics. Linguoculturology, focusing on the interaction of language and culture, allows us to generalize the results of various scientific disciplines, based on knowledge about man, his consciousness and society. The article, using conceptual analysis, studies the cultural significance of pilaf as an element of Uzbek national culture. Cultural aspects such as the custom of serving pilaf as a sign of hospitality, as well as stereotypes associated with pilaf, including its preparation on Thursdays and its role at weddings and funerals, are analyzed. The study demonstrates how pilaf becomes a symbol of gratitude and hospitality, which indicates the expansion of its symbolic meanings in the context of Uzbek culture.
