This article examines the methodological transformations that occur when translating works of art between Uzbek and English. A comparative analysis of multiple translations of key Uzbek and English literary works reveals common challenges and strategies employed by translators to convey artistic meaning across linguistic and cultural boundaries. The study reveals a shift towards more interpretive and reader-oriented translation methodologies for works of art. The article also considers the implications of these findings for the translation of Uzbek and English literature, both in terms of theory and practice.
