This article explores the significance of folk music as a traditional cultural heritage of peoples. The most popular and significant folk songs are analyzed, which play an important role in the formation of the spiritual, moral, educational and aesthetic worldview of the younger generation. Particular attention is paid to the ideological and artistic content of the songs, which reflects various aspects of the life of the people.
