Annotatsiya

This article examines the judicial system of the Bukhara Emirate under the Manghit dynasty (1756–1920) as a central element of public administration. It focuses on the court structure, operational mechanisms, and matters of criminal law and punishment. The study analyses the role of Sharia norms in judicial practice and their interaction with political reforms and socio-economic transformations of the period. Emphasis is placed on how religious and legal institutions contributed to the consolidation of power and the governance of society.
