Annotatsiya

. In this study, the structural changes, phase composition, and hardness of gray cast iron samples containing different amounts of alloying elements were analyzed. The results showed that increasing copper content promoted pearlite formation, improving the alloy’s strength and wear resistance. A higher cooling rate refined the microstructure and increased hardness. These findings provide a basis for enhancing the performance of gray cast iron and determining optimal chemical compositions and processing conditions for producing high-quality, competitive cast components in industrial applications.
