This analytical article focuses on the nuclear arms race between Pakistan and India, examining the main trends of this process and its associated consequences. The aim of the research is to reveal the dynamics of nuclear armament, its impact on related fields, and the threats it poses to regional security. Additionally, the article attempts to cover the implications arising from the recent Pahalgam crisis between Pakistan and India. The nuclear arms race is approached within the framework of the security dilemma and the "action-reaction" model theory, emphasizing that this process has negative implications at both regional and global levels. Furthermore, it is noted that this topic is highly relevant, and it is advisable to continuously study the transformation of the process over time.
