This article analyzes how sukuk - as an Islamic financial instrument - is being rediscovered in legal reality. Unlike traditional bonds, sukuk is based on property rights and is drawn up in accordance with Sharia requirements. The article covers the formation, development, and implementation of sukuk in modern financial systems and the global legal environment. In particular, the influence of international standards (AAOIFI, IFSB) and national legislation on the development of the Sukuk legal infrastructure is analyzed. The rediscovery of sukuk is analyzed, and the stages of development are classified. According to the research results, sukuk is being reinterpreted not only as a financial instrument, but also as a legal and economic mechanism. This creates the basis for its rediscovery as an important tool in modern legal reality. The article has theoretical and practical significance for lawyers, financiers, and researchers engaged in Islamic finance.
