The article highlights that the current stage of education system reform in our country is closely linked to ongoing changes in social and economic spheres. It aims to achieve greater independence in choosing the strategic direction for preparing future special education teachers for inclusive education, both for educational institutions and teachers, with the purpose of continuous professional development. The need to improve educational technologies for the continuous professional development of future special education teachers is discussed, including enhancing the essence and content of educational technologies in extracurricular activities, and developing a methodology to prepare future special education teachers for inclusive education. The article considers the necessity of creating special conditions that ensure the adaptation of professional challenges in educating and raising children with developmental disabilities to various social and professional-pedagogical factors, in accordance with the nature of special educational needs. It is noted that the results of modern research form a new knowledge base in the field of education and upbringing of individuals with disabilities, creating opportunities for them, and training personnel. This actualizes the problem of future teachers searching for means to develop these individuals.
