It is well-known that today's modern education system has defined its main goal as nurturing a free-thinking, comprehensively developed, mature individual. Observations have revealed that teachers' pedagogical skills and assessment competence are of primary importance in shaping the future generation with such qualities. A teacher's high level of expertise and ability to assess accurately encourage students in non-philological faculties to think creatively, make independent decisions, and fully demonstrate their intellectual potential. In this article, the author explains with examples that previously, written speech was considered only as a means of expressing and understanding thoughts in graphic form and as a method of teaching reading and speaking. However, over the last decade, the situation has fundamentally changed. The article examines the stages of monitoring students' written speech competence based on digital technologies and the rapid development of these technologies. The widespread use of the Internet in the educational process has elevated the status of written speech and necessitated a review of its place in the modern educational paradigm. The article describes how written speech has become not only a means of transmitting knowledge but also an important tool that allows students in non-philological fields to develop their creative abilities and actively participate in communication and information exchange on a global scale.
