This article deeply analyzes the criminal legal nature of environmental pollution offenses. It highlights the specific features of the generic, specific, and direct objects of such crimes committed against the main components of the non-living natural world: land, water, and atmospheric air. Furthermore, the characteristics of the objective and subjective aspects of the crime are thoroughly examined, with attention paid to issues such as the form of guilt, motives, and the subject. The article emphasizes the social danger of these crimes and their negative consequences.
