The article discusses the preservation and scientific documentation of national headdresses, particularly skullcaps (do'ppi), stored and displayed in Uzbek museums. The study examines storage conditions, documentation processes, and various display methods for skullcaps across different museums. It highlights the achievements and techniques in incorporating headwear into collections, addresses the importance of considering technical aspects during documentation, and provides recommendations. The research also explores the challenges and successes in preserving and showcasing these traditional headdresses.
