this work covers the scientific and theoretical foundations of obtaining, suspending, restoring and terminating the status of a lawyer. The study analyzes the concept and content of the status of a lawyer, its features, as well as the requirements for obtaining this status with a comparative legal analysis. Particular attention is paid to the processes of suspension, restoration and termination of the status of a lawyer, their legal grounds and mechanisms. This article also discusses issues related to the acquisition of lawyer status by foreign citizens. The work is aimed at an in-depth understanding of the legal aspects of regulating advocacy and offers recommendations for improving legislation in this area, which helps to strengthen the rule of law and protect the rights of citizens.
