The article examines the conceptual approaches of representatives of different economic schools to the green economy, studies its impact on the labor market and employment opportunities, classifies job creation directions based on green technologies, and develops a conceptual model for expanding green employment. According to this model, the category of "green employment opportunities" is identified, and proposals are made for its expansion and job creation.
