The article addresses the issues of ensuring minors' rights in labor relations. The author analyzes these rights based on the new edition of the Labor Code and highlights the innovations introduced to the Code in this regard. Additionally, the author attempts to examine, from both theoretical and practical perspectives, the specific features of legal regulation concerning the employment of individuals under eighteen years of age. These features include: guarantees for their employment, types of work where their labor is prohibited, their labor rights, procedures and guarantees for mandatory medical examinations, duration of reduced working hours and daily shifts, prohibition of sending them on business trips, restrictions on involving them in overtime work, night shifts, work on weekends and public holidays, provision of extended annual leave, payment for their work under production norms and reduced working hours, and additional guarantees when terminating their employment contracts. The author also presents their own proposals and conclusions on these matters.
