This article analyzes the descriptions and distinctions of ossuaries alongsidethe most ancient burial rites and traditions in the territory of Khorezm. It explores the emergenceof dakhmas and religious rituals in the Khorezm region, as well as the evolutionary stages ofossuary development. Burial rites in Khorezm date back to ancient times, and certain elements ofthese practices have been preserved to the present day.
