This article provides a scientific analysis of the formation of the policy ofreligious tolerance in the Timurid Empire, its historical and cultural foundations, and thegeopolitical factors that influenced its formation. The study highlights the use of an approachbased on religious compromise by Amir Temur and the Timurid rulers in governing a vast empirethat included many religious societies, based on sources. The strategic territorial location of thecountry, the expansion of trade and diplomatic ties through the Great Silk Road, and the role ofthe religious factor in foreign policy relations with Eastern and Western countries are analyzed ina geopolitical context.
