This article scientifically substantiates the content of developing professional competence of future primary school teachers in the context of dual education. It analyzes the formation of educational content based on the competency-based approach, as well as the integration of theory and practice. Professional competence is revealed through the unity of motivational-value, cognitive, activity-practical, communicative, and reflective components, and the main content blocks that ensure its development are specified.
