This article addresses the current challenges in inter-agency cooperation between preliminary investigation officers, inquiry bodies, and state forensic medical experts in the appointment and execution of forensic medical examinations. Its primary objective is to safeguard the life and health of citizens while enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement practices in combating crime. The article examines both the strengths and weaknesses of interdepartmental collaboration among these entities in the process of appointing and conducting forensic investigations. It also provides recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency and outcomes of such cooperation.
