The article explores the impact of international norms on the criminal liability of minors, particularly in relation to immunity, exemption from liability, or punishment. From the perspective of international law norms, principles, and standards, juvenile delinquency prevention is considered a key aspect of protecting the rights of minors. The analysis focuses on international documents in this field and their reflection in national legislation. Attention is drawn to the importance of setting a reasonable minimum age for criminal liability, emphasizing the need to consider the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual maturity of the child. The article also examines the establishment of a separate legal procedure for crimes committed by minors, designed to enhance the educational and preventive effects of the process. In addition to the general system of criminal procedural guarantees for minors, this procedure includes specific additional rules and institutions.
