Annotatsiya

Antitrust legislation traditionally views the market as a set of specific goods or services provided by a supplier and purchased by a client or consumer. This understanding, based on the economic laws of supply and demand, was considered classic in all market economy jurisdictions. However, with the advent of digital products and the development of the digital economy, this view has changed. The digital economy is now perceived as a new quality of economic life, due to mass digitalization and the introduction of other technologies. In this new economic reality, there is a need to revise the rules of competition. Accordingly, the economic indicators that legal and economic sciences relied on until recently have lost their relevance in assessing the boundaries of the digital market.
