The article is devoted to the analysis of phraseological units that include various somatic components. This paper examines the meaning and role of somatic phraseological units (SF) as one of the special classes of phraseological units in modern German. The object of the study was the phraseological units (FE) presented in the German-Russian phraseological dictionary of L.E. Binovich.
