This article is a study of the stage of family development, which is characterized by the most constructive and effective overcoming of normative difficulties. The authors draw attention to the achievement of a high level of socio-psychological adaptation of spouses at this stage. Particular attention is paid to families with teenagers, where common family problems are identified, and the contribution of both parents and the teenager himself in solving these normative family difficulties is taken into account.
