One of the key social functions of the family is the continuation of the human race and raising children, as well as creating effective living conditions for its members. The article analyzes sibling relationships in the context of family ties, features of the birth and upbringing of children. The opinions of scientists and research results regarding the concept of “sibling” are also presented.
