This article explores the history of the Afrighid dynasty, which ruled Khorezm from the 4th to the 10th centuries, as depicted in Chinese sources. Additionally, the authors investigate the methodologies and conclusions employed by researchers in illuminating the history of early medieval Khorezm through Chinese historical records.
