The article is devoted to the characteristics of the directions of the modern transformation of the mobile gaming industry under the influence of artificial intelligence. It clarifies the high place and role of artificial intelligence for the developer studio, which is associated with a complex influence on various stages of software application development. In the field of mobile application development, artificial intelligence helps to perform and reduce the time to implement a wide range of tasks, ranging from designing game levels, endowing virtual opponents with reasonable behavior, generating images, and music materials, and ending with sufficiently studied areas of analytics, statistics collection, product optimization, etc. Artificial intelligence is used in a number of areas of mobile game development: increasing user engagement, improving gameplay, generating digital content, using narrative design, and programming based on artificial intelligence. Within the framework of each of the directions, their own problems and prospects for the use of artificial intelligence are formed, the general nature of which is associated with the possibilities of optimization, personalization, and efficiency improvement, while at the same time influencing the problems of ethics, copyright, the quality of gaming products, and their novelty. Based on the results of the research, conclusions are drawn about the need for a balanced, justified and conscious approach when using the capabilities of artificial intelligence on the part of mobile game developers.
