This article examines the role of agricultural enterprises in thenational economy, their economic nature and modern classification principles.Also, the specific characteristics of the activities of agricultural enterprises,which differ from other sectors, the use of land resources and the impact ofbiological factors on production efficiency are scientifically substantiated.
