The purpose of patriotic education is the formation of the foundations of patriotism as the moral side of the individual, the development of the individual as a socially active member of society, the formation of the person as an individual, the upbringing of spirituality and civic responsibility, as well as the formation of a patriotic personality ready to defend the interests of the country, to work for its good. This article discusses the features of patriotism and its influence on the formation of the younger generation.
