In this article, the role of communication between different cultures in modern society and its influence on the formation of a tolerant and harmonious society was studied. An overview of current theories and research on intercultural interaction and its role in reducing prejudice, conflict, and misunderstanding is provided. Factors that contribute to successful communication, such as empathy, mutual respect, openness to new ideas, and critical thinking, were considered. Also, attention was paid to the obstacles and difficulties facing dialogue processes and possible strategies and practices to overcome them. Also, the role of state and non-state organizations in supporting the dialogue of cultures, and creating platforms for mutual cooperation and exchange between different cultural groups was analyzed.
