This article examines the digitalization of road design, repair, and operation processes. It demonstrates the potential of implementing BIM technologies and digital lifecycle models to integrate road data across all stages, from design to operation. It describes the functions of digital platforms for planning and monitoring repairs, as well as approaches to digital modeling of traffic loads and climate impacts for optimizing pavement designs. Based on an analysis of international experience and the conditions of Tajikistan, the key benefits of digitalization (reduced lifecycle costs, increased forecast accuracy, and management transparency) are identified, and recommendations are provided for the phased implementation of digital solutions in the country's road sector.
