Ushbu maqolada jahon neft bozorida shakllanayotgan kon’yunkturaviy tendensiyalar va istiqbollar ko‘rib chiqilgan. Neft global iqtisodiyotda asosiy xomashyo manbalaridan biri sifatida o‘ta muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi, shu bilan birga, siyosiy, iqtisodiy va texnologik omillar taʼsirida uning narxlari keskin o‘zgarishi mumkin. Maqolada OPEK+ bitimlari, shale oil (slanets nefti) qazib olish texnologiyalarining rivojlanishi va geosiyosiy xavflarning bozorga taʼsiri atroflicha tahlil qilingan. Shuningdek, iqlim o‘zgarishiga qarshi choralar, alternativ energiya manbalarining kengayishi va energetika siyosatidagi “yashil” tamoyillar sabab neftga bo‘lgan talabning uzoq muddatli istiqbolda pasayishi ehtimoli tahlil qilinadi. Muallif, neft qazib chiqaruvchi va isteʼmol qiluvchi davlatlar o‘rtasidagi munosabatlar, energiya xavfsizligi masalalari hamda neft narxlari beqarorligining global iqtisodiy o‘sishga bo‘lgan taʼsiri haqida xulosa qiladi.
