This paper presents the results of a study carried out to assess the strength of the structural elements of the superstructure of the track as a result of the impact of an elongated passenger wagon on it. It has been established that the strength and stability of the structural elements of the upper track structure as a result of the impact of an open-type passenger wagon model 61-950 on it complies with regulatory requirements.
