Annotatsiya

The article examines gender-responsive strategies for reducing English-speaking anxiety and increasing the communicative participation of pre-service English teachers. A comparison of Uzbek and international research defines gender responsiveness as examining how opportunities to speak, perform demanding tasks, receive support, and correct errors are distributed, rather than assigning different methods to women and men. A six-stage methodological sequence and criteria for assessing its outcomes are proposed.
