This scientific article analyzes the relationship between legal consciousness and social responsibility in students from a socio-psychological perspective. Legal consciousnessis considered a complex psychological phenomenon that reflects a person's attitude towards current legal norms, rights and obligations, the rule of law, and legal values. Social responsibility, on the other hand, is characterized by an individual's awareness of their obligations to society, the ability to anticipate the consequences of their actions, and a willingness to act in accordance with social norms. The study theoretically analyzed the interrelationships between legal knowledge, legal values, legal attitudes, social responsibility, ethical standards, and social behavior. The results of the analysis show that an increase in the level of legal awareness of students is one of the important psychological conditions for the formation of their socially responsible behavior. At the same time, the family, higher education environment, peer group, national and universal values, and digital information environment appear as important sociopsychological factors influencing this process.
