Annotatsiya

The article classifies the monitoring and analysis technologies used in investigating crimes committed via DarkNet and, drawing on a survey of law enforcement officers and criminal statistics, analyzes the systemic shortcomings of existing investigation methodologies. The experience of the United States, the European Union and international organizations is examined, and the methods of blockchain forensics and an algorithm for rapid cooperation with cryptocurrency exchanges in investigating cryptocurrency-related financial crimes are described. Proposals are developed to improve the legislation on operational-search activity, the Criminal Procedure Code and organizational and legal mechanisms.
